Well guys, I'm not too sure yet. But i think my days of Guild Wars are over.

Last night a lightning storm was coming my way. I was chatting to Black Pharao and it was off in a distance and I didn't have to get off quite yet at the moment, then my computer got struck by lightening, my screen went dim for a second and guildwars froze, turned the comp off, turned it on 20 minutes later an the bootscreen only shows, as soon as it has the welcome screen pops up the computer completely stalls. I think my memory is shot.

I'm going to try to install it on my shop computer to see if it works.

Ouch! Sorry man.

My screen name is Mira Savage, (warrior/monk), level 8, and still pre-searing. I think I have one last quest to do and then I'll head into the real game. There's another character in a guild on this account so I don't think I can join up with a second guild with this character; someone in game said I couldn't. Waaaaaaa means I don't get a cape, waaaaaaaa!

I currently have 4 bottles of dye and tried out 2 bottles but my comp didn't show the colors. Bah!

This game is bash 'em, smash 'em funness.

Yup. You completed the game? Do you pvp and can you complete it without pvping? My character is pvm.

Yeah I read about mixing dyes the other day. I think that's how you might get a black dye. But I have no idea what colors mixed together make what. Are there any guides that tell you what makes what?

I should be able to play tomorrow sometime.

No doubt...he's the reason dye is so expensive...he's hoarding it all in his storage box! You've got all the black dye's, don't you!

Not sure, it's pretty bad though. Anyways, its time for an upgrade, the laptop is faster than my current computer, the only thing thats weak about it is it's video card. it'll be a week or two before i get back online to GW. It's cool too cause i got a draknor run for 2.5k, and I'm level 14 wearing knight armour, the levels that I'm working on back at Yaks Bend...heh, the enemies hit me 0 or 1 dmg. lol

Is it that hard that you need someone to run you to Draknor's? I read about the shortcut from Beacon's Perch to Draknor's and if I'm level 19 or 20, isn't that enough?

That's the last city I think or one of the last ones. And the best armor in the game is there as well I think?

I haven't seen any real upgrade of the armor I have. I wish I could find some place where it tells my total armor, like in D2...

Yeah, thats where they take you from.
All runs are done by warriors because of their high tolerence to damage, plus the warriors armour is the best armour in the game, a simple plate mail is 85 defense +10 against melee. Other than that if you don't have good armour (and skills) it's pretty much difficult...even impossible to get there from beacons perch. The wurms are particularly bad but I think the mountian giants are worse.

After you finish the Crystal Desert section of the game, you'll be transported to Draknors.

Just bought the game today...made it to level 6. I picked a warrior, not sure on the secondary prof.

Anyway, I applied for ToJ, haven't heard anything in the email yet about membership.

Hopefully, I can get an invite soon.

What's your in game name?

I have done 2 out of the 3 missions that I think you need to do in order to ascend. The last one I need to do is Thirsty River which is really hard. I tried 2x with a group and we failed.
