Is anyone playing it? I'm liking it, but I need some higher level players instead of the NPC's to play with. I'm a lvl 9 Warrior/Elementalist. I was thinking of starting a guild too. PM me if you're interested. We always meet in Section 7 when we go to an area. My in-game name is "Grabthar's Hammer". God bless!

I really want to get it, I'm not sure if my computer supports it though, because I bought the first halo, and it wouldn't work I was so sad....and now I think I'm sadder if this one wouldn't work because I LOVE RPG's and I've always wanted to play online with them! Hopefully I will try and get it after exams! So keep me in mind?

It should support just about any pc, just turn the settings down a bit. If you get on there...just hop on and shoot me a tell.

Halo for PC was an unoptimized pile of garbage. I have a top of the line system and I still had framerate issues.

I got FF 11 and i would not work, but verysoon(done orderd it) im getting a laptop wiht 1G ram and 64K modem. It has a Radeon 128 mb something type graphic card on it.

will my computer support it

Yeah, you guys can PM me any time you want. I'll be on and off from time to time. MiccyNarc...I agree Halo ran like junk, but Guild Wars is worse if you turn up everything. The lighting will **** systems, but turn some of it down, and you're good to go. I love not having the monthly fee. Buy a game, and be able to play it when and how long you want to...not an extra $15 a month?! I could see a couple bucks, for server maintenence, salaries for employees, etc...but not that much, considering how many people play a game like this.

There's no fee because there's nothing really to maintain is there? Isn't it more like PSO with mission based, instanced zones instead of a persistent world?

Yeah, it's instance based, but it's still a blast! You really can't go wrong with it.

No, because it's not persistent world like other MMORPGs so there isn't a slew of servers that have to run 24/7. It's my understanding that you meet up with other people in towns (which are persistent?) and then go on adventures in instanced zones. I'll definately be giving it a try when I get my new PC.

Exactly...except you see everyone in town...the land outside of town is the instanced part. I really like the game...honest opinion. There are quirks, yes...but for what you pay for, what you get, it's got to be right up there with the best mmorpg's in my eyes. Take that for what it's worth. If you're on a budget, or don't want to continually pay a company to play a game you BOUGHT, it's a great game. I liked World of Warcraft better, but I am tired of paying $50 for a game ($75 for WoW, since I got the collector's edition...SWEET game), and then paying $15 a month just to be able to play it?! If you have the money, and want to play a game like it, you can't go wrong. My two cents.
