Growth Hormones?

Alright, I was in my Biology class at my university today and we were talking about growth hormones. There is a new one out. (At least this is the first I had heard of it) to where parents of preteens can decide that thier kids are not tall enough or are too tall. Then they can take a hormone and inject it into the femoral bone in your legs and it will either stop you from growing or make you grow more. What do ya'll think about this? What can we divine from God's Word about this.

Personally, I think it is a bad idea. God made every body different in thier own way. If we try and start making judgements on people based on looks, wouldn't that bring our already shallow society even lower?

Renae let me tell you something it's easy to feed yourself this load about everyone being special when your not the guy who's only going to grow to be 4ft tall because a hormone deficiency or the person who dies from heart failure in there forties because of giantism. This isn't creating designer people it's helping people who suffer from very server hormone imbalances.

Well, I wasn't talking about the people that have those severe circumstances. I was talking about people who are going to be 5'1 who want to be 5'6, that kind of thing.

There are always exceptions for special cases. But I still firmly believe that God made us all the way he did for a reason. I just don't think we should ever change what God has made in us.

Renae the hormone therapies wouldn't work in the situations your talking about these are very powerful chemicals a fact you would be aware if you bothered to do some research rather than just shooting your mouth.
