growing-water-risks-food-crops
Human beings, on earth, face a 33% reduction in food crops.
About a third of food crops are watered by irrigation, and the rest are
watered by natural rain.
Crops watered by irrigation, are facing serious competition for water.
Crops watered by natural rain, are facing more and more irregular
rain patterns, because of global pollution (aka, global warming).
If you think that America has an illegal immigration problem NOW,
think about what will happen when 20% of the world's population
shows up on the American Southern border, because they can no
longer buy food in their home country due to the collapse of water
sources.
If you live in one of the "swing states" that have experienced the effects
of hurricanes Helene and Milton, you should honestly ask yourself why
many people living in Florida can NO LONGER AFFORD home insurance,
because of the high risk of catastrophic flooding. This includes the middle
states of America, in the Appalatians, where massive flooding has erased entire
towns, although these towns are hundreds of miles from the Atlantic coast.
The irony is that the states badly devastated by the recent hurricanes, are
states in which many people still believe the conspiracy theories that assert
that there is no such thing as global warming, or if there is, it doesn't really
affect the weather.
Ignorance promotes conspiracy theories.
---------- ----------
We are just seeing the BEGINNING of massive weather changes, due to
global pollution.
And there is no guarantee that the effects of this pollution CAN BE REVERSED,
after we have gone past some tipping points. If this is true, then it does not
matter if many of the conspiracy theory crowd does change their mind about
global warming some time in the future -- at that time, seriously changing our
lifestyles to protect the earth, will be too late.
No one will care, if all Americans who still believe the conspiracy theories that
global pollution/warning does not cause devastating weather changes, IF all
these people change their minds, AFTER IT IS TOO LATE TO FIX THE PROBLEM.
Americans should not be electing any state of federal officials, who do not
believe that global warming is happening, AND, that it is having devastating
effects on our weather.
