  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Thanks for feedback Michelle,a good life-force on the forums. It does seem generally that we men/women are wired differently and thus have different challenges. The only example I could think would be the hot flashes of menopause where ya can't figure out what your body is doing. It's sorta a byproduct of our roles genetically.

As I said previous,I think my pain is born as a whiplash to former rejection. It's nice as MAYBE my heart is letting go from her FINALLY. But it's bad because I love God,enjoy the peace of my relationship, yet to watch a pretty gal walk buy darn near melts me,draws me toward sin. Which to some extent is a common struggle with a lot of men....but this stuff....wow!

I tread softly in these next few thoughts, speaking generally. I talked with Eliz Elliot. I had prejudged her as a prude but when I met her she was a pretty cool person and we connected. She's written several books but one book had the title of The Making of a Man where she depicted a man's role as INITIATOR and the woman's as RESPONDER. I often see this pattern. Well, guess who carries the drive or push to keep the species going? And what gender struggles most with sexual drive issues?(Not saying women don't have sex drive). So my onslaught of sin stikes me at my weakest link, yet turns me to the face of God for deliverance--Woe is me!
