Nothing - not a single thing - in that video gives you any reason to believe there are civilisations older than those presently known about.

There's no actual factual claims made in that video, it's just a discussion of various Vedic scriptures and their interpretations.

Fine, but that is mere speculation. Wishing something was so is never a valid reason for belief. And please note. You believe that complex life existed before the Cambrian. That is almost certainly wrong. I gave you the example of the Ediacaran. The Geologic period that directly preceded the Cambrian. There was multicellular life, but none of it had any hard body parts such as bones or shells. The atmosphere at that time likely did not have enough molecular oxygen for anything more complex to exist. And the fact that we have examples of life that fossilizes very very rarely and none at all of life with bones or shells tells us that there almost certainly was no life with bones or shells at that time.

Even that does not appear to support you. Did you not read it at all? Though it probably is just garbage, it is about relatively recent human life. You do know the difference between a million and a billion I hope.

You need to stop this. This is not about atheists "evidence". It is simply about evidence. Non-atheists can be scientists too. Scientists have to understand what is and what is not evidence. Evidence does not care about a person's religious beliefs. Please do not put false titles on evidence.

You need to stop doing this. That is a reportable act. I did not deny any evidence. You do not appear to understand the concept of evidence. You provided no reliable evidence and definitely no scientific evidence.

If you provide proper evidence I will accept it. When you mess up I will point out your errors.

I've got a copy. It's terrible. As someone with a degree in history, and who worked in the field for a number of years, Cremo/Thompson's book wouldn't even get a passing grade for an undergraduate paper.

It's a mess of unsubstantiated assertions, misunderstanding genres, ignoring inconvenient findings, willfully mis-interpreting or outright lying about others - particularly older findings that have been reversed by later study - and just making stuff up. It's metaphysics and conspiracy theories masquerading as "science".

No. Plato may have. Though you would need to support that with a reliable source. I am sure that the Hopi never did. Though you could try to find a reliable source for that.


History has peer review too. They have their own definition of "evidence" but it is not that different from scientific evidence. If a claim cannot pass peer review it makes for a very very weak claim.

No. You simply do not understand the concept of evidence.

Here let me help you a bit. Since we are trying to have a scientific discussion the evidence that you need is scientific evidence. Here is an article for you to read on it:
