Hmmm .... I dunno about FEAR. The single player game was awesome. Graphics, controls, physics ... awesome. The multiplayer fell flat on it's face though. I was bummed out by that. I was hoping for a replacement for SOFII.

PC - AOE III ... honorable mention : Battlefield 2: Special Forces
Xbox - NCAA '06
PS2 - Resident Evil 4 .... honorable mention : Shadow of the Colossus.
Gamecube - Haven't even touched it since 2003 or so.

I will concur that multiplayer was a bit lacking but the single player MORE than made up for it

AOE = Age of Empires.

The only platform I still game on would be the Xbox, and as I loved several games that were released on there I won't bother trying to pick just one.

What is AOE III?

AOE3 Disappointed me. I would have to say World of Warcraft for the PC, even though I hate it. For the Xbox, Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory and for Playstation 2 Resident Evil 4.

Resident Evil 4 on the GameCube ruined me for all other games. It was that good, it was a month after I finished RE4 that I played anything else.

Working on Half Life 2 on the 'box, love it, nearly done.

Want to play Indigo Prophecy and Far Cry, thinking of getting a Gamefly account..........

Half Life 2. Yes, it was released in 2004, but at the END of 2004, so bug off! Best game of 2005.

Hmm, if we're gonna allow 2004 games to count as 2005 GOTY, then I'm gonna have to say Imperishable Night.

I liked it because it was a non-complicated game that was just fun and looks VERY nice!

PS2 = Pro Evolution Soccer 5
I liked it because I love football and this is the most accurate simulation of football ever made making it the most fun football game around.
