  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Sorry to bother, but I was just wondering.. Is 30 really the new 20? lol, I had to ask, I'm 17, so I've just to know about the future. So if 30 really is the new 20, then is 20 the new 10? So that means I can still play video games? lol, just joking there, but really, how about those 30's?

It's funny, at your age, I thought 30's, 40's were old and anything past 50 was ancient.

Now I'm in my mid-thirties, those ages still seem "young" to me. I would never want to go back to my teen years or even my 20's. Some people have the desire to be young again, but I don't. I'm quite content. Aging is not such a scary thing anymore.

Besides, I still play my son's video games... :)

 I guess it all depends on who ya are, for me, 30's have been the new 60's! I'm stiff, my joints sound like rice crispies often when I move and I'm grumpy, so no, nothing like my 20's! Sorry, just had to vent:mad:

That's funny! :D

I'm almost 40 and I've never felt or looked better!! AND, I'm alot wiser than I was in my 20's!
Sure, I was cute in my 20's, but I was soooo lost on what I wanted to do after I graduated college! And I was so miserable from not really knowing who 'I' was.
Now, I know exactly who I am and what I'm doing in 'life' and my RL's reflect it too.
I LOVE getting older!!

For me, I've become more and more comfortable in my skin now in my thirties than I have been ten or so years ago. And I hope to continue to be comfortable in my skin as I grow older. I think thirty certainly is the new twenty... dare I even say that forty is the new twenty!;)

Women these days just take better care of themselves than the women of many years past. When my maternal grandma was in her fifties she looked well....old. Now women in their fifties and sixties, even seventies look great! It's just an all around different attitude with todays women.

blessings,
~Michele:angel:

Before I learned that my cholestorol was near 200
At 199, I not just worked out more but
I ate more salads, grain, everything
Despite still eating sweets which I admit
Has been my downfall
I eat salads at least twice a week!
