No, I think the GOP did that all by themselves. Now that it's election time, the chickens are coming home to roost. Maybe they'll try pandering again and pick Rubio. I'm getting Palin flashbacks. :doh:
How? What actual policies and statements have the Repubs themself made that's actually against any of those groups? There are none. All there is is a bunch of stuff from the Dems talking about what they say Repub ideas and policies will do. There's no actual negative effects though.

David Dewhurst and former state solicitor general Ted Cruz were the top finishers in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate and will face each other in a July 31 run-off. The Senate race is being billed as a battle between the GOP establishment (Dewhurst, who is backed by Gov. Rick Perry) and Tea Party insurgents (Cruz, backed by Sarah Palin).
