So saying, RC, I will clarify my statement of before for you...
"But to be serious, knowing what we know (of what seperates us), how can we bring everyone together (since I care about them and love them also) theologically and spiritually (and emotionally) so that we stop this evil that is dividing us (and do what God wants us to do which is to love Him and share that love with others)?"
I think if we know what separates us is an attitude of condemnation than removing that attitude would be the first step in getting everyone together. As you recall the first line in the first post of this thread says:
Since some people here feel the need to continually demonize me and claim the Devil is using me,
I know that statement is true because I have been the subject of the same type of judgment by some on this forum. Do the people on this forum know that this separates them from other Christians? I think often they do and that separation is often a source of their pride, to declare others as evil is a way to make their views as being the remnant seem justifiable. They then can disregard the differences that the other person has on theology by their assumption that the other person is evil, a tool of the Devil.
It seems that there needs to be an attitude change where people can be more tolerant of different opinions and people examine those opinions to see if they have merit or not. There is no reason to hold to something if the reason is merely tradition just as there is no reason to hold to something for a merely speculative reason.
Image how you would feel if you were told your beliefs were of the Devil, it is no wonder some of the exchanges become quickly heated and hurtful. There seems to be something very wrong with the attitude of a good number of the of people here. And it appears that Nighteternal could not tolerate the abuse anymore and has left.
