Aerlinn looked around and spotted an extra sword. She liked it's design and balance and durability, so she decided she could always use an extra one. She found Fire Ammo for Zanar and grabbed it.

Steel Long Sword:For Aerlinn.
Fire Ammo:For Axel.

"Well, find what you were looking for?" asked Axel. Aerlinn nodded. "This sword will do some good," she said. "Oh, I almost forgot!!! I need some kind of armor, so I'll go ask for a Leather Vest, for now, unless they've got Chain. Axel went to the counter.

Inventory:

Chain Vest:Reduce damage status to three hits a damage level. For Axel.

Aerlinn handed Axel the Fire Ammo.
"Here, I managed to find some." she said, turning and waling out the door.
She was anxious to get on the road, even thought she didn't klnow why. She shrigged at her excitement and waited for Axel.

Axel went out the side door, and snuck around, until he saw her waiting out front. "What took you so long," he joked.

"Oh, nothing, I was just waiting here for no particular reason." she said sarcastically.

 

[DudeForChrist]

"Good one," said Axel. He chuckled. "Well, we should probably get going. Let's stop by my house to tell Uncle Clyde good-bye, then be on our way." Aerlinn nodded.

Aerlinn followed Axel to his uncles house. She didn't feel comfortable telling Clyde goodbye, seeing as he wasn't her uncle. She waited outside for Axel to be ready. She happened to look up and saw a group of teenage boys her age, looking at her through some bushes. They were trying to be sneaky, but they were failing at that. Aerlinn rolled her eyes and began walking towards them, her head up high. The second they saw that she was headed towards them, they ran off. Probably cause I have three swords and they didn't have any weapons. she thought. She walked back to where she was standing and waited for Axel.

"Hey Uncle, just came to tell you bye!!!" said Axel as he walked through the door. Something was wrong, since he didn't answer. "Uncle?" He saw a note on the table. NG!!!! Not Good!!! thought Axel.

Aerlinn sighed. Axel was taking quite a while just to say goodbye.

Axel burst out the door. "Clyde went out into the forest to go after that Veil character!!! He's gonna need our help!!! Luckily, he made it clear where he was going: the Enchanted Caves!!! That is NOT a good place to be alone!!! We have to go west of the village, due west to get there. C'mon!!!" And with that, Axel ran off in that direction...

Aerlinn hesitated for a moment and then followed. She'd heard many stories about the Enchanted Caves and had also expierenced something there she longed to forget, but she was willing to help Axel in whatever way he needed it. Even if it meant staring death in the face.

Axel stopped. They were not far from the caves, but he sensed something wrong with Aerlinn. "What is it, Aerlinn?" he asked. She straightened, as if surprised he would even ask, and said, "Nothing. Just....nothing. I'm fine." she said. Ya, whatever... thought Axel. They continued their journey...

Aerlinn sighed. It took all of her courage to keep walking.

Soon they came to the entrance of the caves. Aerlinn stopped. "Okay, now I know something's wrong. Wassup?" Aerlinn paused, thinking of what to say...

"I...uh...I didn't have a very good experience with this place, that's all." she said.

 

[DudeForChrist]

"Ah, well, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, I always say. I can understand what you mean. I had a bad experience with guns once. Wouldn't touch em. Then, Uncle Clyde came and taught me all about them. Now, well, look for yourself." Aerlinn looked at him. "But..." "Ya, I know, this is probably different. But, what I'm saying is, maybe you should face this one fear. We may never come here again. Plus, who knows what Clyde is doing in there?" Axel walked into the caves...

Aerlinn stared into the caves for a few seconds, before unshiething two of her swords and slowly following Axel. She was so nervous she was almost shaking. She hoped they passed through the cave without any trouble.
