Going to a catholic church for the first time

i am going to a catholic church when the virus stuff ends, its quite a large catholic church, especially considering how rural the area i live in is. it mainly appeals to me most bc it has mass all days of the week except monday and conforms to my work schedule quite well.

i have been advised against going tho, mainly bc its a largely hispanic church and i was told they are usually heretical. for me personally i dont see an issue, as i havent even been to a church in 10 years. i tried going to a Orthodox church not too long ago, but it was too rigid, i work sundays and i couldnt attend to eucharist even IF i finished my catechism stuff.

any opinions on this?

My wife is from Colombia and the priest from our local parish is from Mexico so we’ve visited both the English and Spanish Masses. They each have their own flavor but we enjoy them both.

I’ve been to the Spanish Masses at my Church and never seen anything heretical in them.
