You would have to deny a lot of scripture to make that claim. I see your response to post # 155 and post # 156 was to simply ignore all the scriptures provided that disagrees with your teachings. Of course you are free to believe as you wish. Ignoring God's Word however does not make it disappear according to the scriptures in Romans 3:4; Acts of the Apostles 5:29; Isaiah 6:9-10; Matthew 13:13-15; Acts of the Apostles 28:26-27. John 12:47-48 etc...

If there is lots of scripture on this subject that you should have no difficulty posting a verbatim quote, which prevents have to jump through hoops to reach some convoluted conclusion.

Nowhere does Yahshua say "I am YHWH." Nowhere does scripture say "Yahshua is YHWH." If such an important issue was true; it would stand to reason that Yahshua would have made it crystal clear. YHWH repeatedly said, "I am YHWH" 162 times throughout scripture. Yahshua said it not once.

    What is the father's name?

Well that is not true. You can jump up and down all you want with your words that disagree with God's Word as posted in post # 155 and post # 156. This does not make God's Word that disagrees with your words disappear however. In the linked posts that are God's Word not mine the scriptures teach JESUS claims the title of YHWH and that YHWH is the God of creation and that Jesus is the God of creation. What do you have? Only your words that disagree with God's Word. I know who I believe and it is not you dear friend.

If one doesn't know our heavenly father's name; I can understand how this could be a little more confusing.

Would you like to know his name?

Read the OP and you will find out. YHWH has many names. It is not about knowing about a name. It is about knowing and following who those names belong to according to the scriptures *John 10:26-27.

I read it already. Your assertion is pure faulty conjecture.

There is only one name that our heavenly father declares to be his name; that is YHWH.

He says that we are to remember him by this name forever. I take him at his word; and I don't go making up new names for him.

Yet all that has been posted is scripture and all I am hearing from you is your words making claims and accusations that are not scripture. For me personally I prefer God's Word and God's Word disagrees with your words. For me only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow them according to the scriptures *Romans 3:4. So for that reason I choose God's Word over your words that disagree with God's

    Again,

    See: Burden of Proof

    Yours fails.

Produce just one verse where YHWH himself claims to have any other name.

You can't; because it's not there. However, YHWH repeatedly said, "I am YHWH" 162 times.

I think that he meant it. I'll take his word over yours.

    Thanks anyway.

Again see the scriptures your ignoring already posted in post # 155 and post # 156 (burden of proof) that disagree with you that you simply ignore and do not respond to. In the linked posts that are God's Word not mine the scriptures teach JESUS claims the title of YHWH and that YHWH is the God of creation and that Jesus is the God of creation. What do you have? Only your words that deny and disagree with God's Word. I know who I believe and it is not your words denying Gods Word dear friend, so we will have to agree to disagree. If you can prove your claims and accusations by addressing the linked posts by all means go ahead. If you cannot then what have you got? - Your words disagreeing with God's Word.

You are the one who seems to be ignoring scripture.

You need to make your own arguments. Dumping a load of scripture doesn't make your argument, anymore than If I said "you're wrong; read your Bible."

Yahshua never claimed to be YHWH; and you can't prove that he did: otherwise you would have already posted the verse that says "Then Yahshua said, "I am YHWH."" You didn't post that verse; because it doesn't exist.

You made the positive assertion; therefore the burden of Proof falls on you to defend your position.

See: Shifting the Burden of Proof

Since you don't seem to understand the rules of presenting a logical argument; I'll help you out.

If you want to go through one verse at a time; and post the verse; then post your argument for that verse; I'll walk through step by step to show you where your assumptions are leading you astray.

Now HARK!, aren't you the funny one. Repeating yourself over and over does not make your words that are denying Gods Word posted in post # 155 and post # 156 (burden of proof) magically come true. There is no point in repeating yourself dear friend, while ignoring the scriptures in God's Word that disagree with your teachings. I tried asking you about one scripture at a time already over the last few pages remember (John 8:58-59 linking to Exodus 3:14-15)? Your response was to ignore my questions to you and the scriptures in the post shared with you, like you did with the linked posts above that show JESUS claims the title of YHWH and that YHWH is the God of creation and that Jesus is the God of creation. It is not rocket science dear friend. This is what the scriptures say and teach. For me only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow them *Romans 3:4. All your doing here is providing your words while denying and ignoring Gods. Perhaps you can pray about it and until then we should agree to disagree.

The purpose of names is to differentiate between one person and another, one place and another, one substance and another. Since there is only one God, and He is everywhere, "God" is the only name He needs.

WHAT NAME OF GOD DO YOU USE IN PRAYER AND WHY?

Jesus taught His disciples how to pray when they asked him...

Luke 11:1-4 [1], And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said to him, LORD, TEACH US TO PRAY, as John also taught his disciples. [2], And he said to them, WHEN YOU PRAY, SAY, OUR FATHER WHICH ARE IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE YOUR NAME. YOUR KINGDOM COME. YOUR WILL BE DONE, AS IN HEAVEN, SO IN EARTH. [3], Give us day by day our daily bread. [4], And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

pray from the heart and talk to God about the things in your life as a friend talks with a friend..

Matthew 6:7-8 [7], But WHEN YOU PRAY, USE NOT VAIN REPETITIONS, AS THE HEATHEN DO: FOR THEY THINK THAT THEY SHALL BE HEARD FOR THEIR MUCH SPEAKING. [8], Be not you therefore like to them: for YOUR FATHER KNOWS WHAT THINGS YOU HAVE NEED OF, BEFORE YOU ASK HIM.

If we ask God for something he knows what is best for us but the we must believe that God will give us what we ask of him according to His will..

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, WHAT THINGS SOEVER YOU DESIRE, WHEN YOU PRAY BELIEVE THAT YOU RECEIVE THEM AND YOU SHALL HAVE THEM.

What we ask our heavenly father for we should ask in Jesus name...

John 14:13 And WHATEVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME, THAT WILL I DO, THAT THE FATHER MAY BE GLORIFIED IN THE SON.

Pray for those who use you or curse you...

Luke 6:28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which spitefully use you.

We should pray lest we enter into temptation (sin)...

Luke 22:46 And said to them, Why sleep you? rise and PRAY, LEST YOU ENTER INTO TEMPTATION.

We should always be in a state of prayer to God...

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

    ...............

Jesus taught us to prayer to our Father which is in Heaven, and that whatever we ask him we should believe we will receive it asking in His name. Of course Jesus has many names as he is God. For me I use Heavenly father, Jesus, Lord.

    God bless.

DOES IT MATTER WHAT WE NAME GOD?

For me as long as we from the heart are naming the God of the bible (as shown in the scriptures of the OP) then all these names are acceptable to YHWH (God) as they are all His name or descriptions of His character which Gods people have used throughout time. Jesus in the new testament has taught us how to pray *Luke 11:1-4 to God and says when praying we should address God as our Heavenly Father praying to Him in His name John 14:13.

    [STAFF EDITED DELETED QUOTE]

Hello SM. No one said the Lord Jesus Christ does not have a father. John 10:30-42 states I And My Father Are One. Are you another one that does not believe Jesus is God?

I am only a man, and a nobody, but for what it's worth, I agree with you here LGW. I can not see in God's Character exhibited in the Holy Scriptures where I must not only study the Oracles of God HE delivered into my home, in my language, but I must also study Hebrew, and Arabic, and ancient Greek in order to be "Approved of God". Granted, HE is revealing things to me day by day, and HE may show me in Scriptures the importance of changing the language of the Land HE placed me in, in order for Him to accept me. But it seems there are other things HE was more concerned with that what language I used to say His Name.

Then we are all God according to your reasoning in relation to the context in the verses you shared.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
John 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
John 10:32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
    John 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
John 10:37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
John 10:38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

Jesus answered in verse 36 what He meant when He said He and the Father are one. NO WAY AROUND THAT MY BROTHER.

However I find it note worthy to point out the word "I" in verse 34 which is a personnel pronoun being spoken in the first person.

So Who is the "I" that said?

Also Verses 34 and 35 are being spoken in the Indicative Mood. Which means it is being spoken as a matter of fact.

He said we are gods and scripture can not be broken. So my fellow gods. How exactly are we gods?

Here is an interesting parallel in relation to Jesus and us

John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
John 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

Phil 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

    2Cor 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

We would be best suited in respect to why we are here and in Whom we stand if we would center our faith on the following prayer of the Righteous One.

    John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
John 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
John 17:25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
John 17:26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Let's not deny the Holy One and lessen this to say it is referring to one in purpose. That is the intent, but only can be by being One indeed.

Hello HIM, you may have to explain yourself a little better brother. Thanks for sharing the scriptures you posted here. I am not sure what your trying to argue against in your post above though. Did you want to explain yourself a little further? What is it you are agreeing or disagreeing with? Sorry it is a little late my time. Perhaps I am tired. So if I do not get back to you right away I will try and do so after I get some rest.

If you are looking for an argument The first 2 sentences are pretty clear.

There is a lot there so If there is something you think is wrong please state it and if right I will recant.
