I think that "I mean an eight cylinder Sedan" is not giving it the credit it's due.
How about I mean an eight cylinder engine with pistons, valves, spark plugs, a cam shaft, timing chain, oil pump, water pump, connecting rods etc.... that can run.....
And somehow, evolution has the pistons with the connecting rods, roller bearings in place, the valves and cams all miraculously showing up, in their place with all the correct tolerances, lubricants, coolants, hoses, all on their own, placed together with gaskets and bolts tightened to the correct torque and then....starting and running..... All on its own. No outside influence, designer, mechanic, technician, blueprint.......nothing. And in all reality, the internal combustion engine pales in comparison to any living cell in their respective complexities.
