(except those who are Redeemed). he has had no problem convincing those who are not the elect of many many many things that cannot even remotely be true (this thread op just one instance). they don't have the freedom to know better, until and unless they turn to the Creator, the One True Living Creator Yhvh, for His Help and Salvation.

Hasty generalization. Do you mean that particular Evangelical and fundamentalist Protestants with whom you have direct experience were not forgiving in your particular situation?

Frankly, most people don't bother to even ask about religion, and of those who do the most common responses aren't particularly terrible. Worst I experience on a regular basis are weak attempts at conversion.

However, when people do get nasty, they go all the way.
