How does God come preaching peace and then casts judgement upon those whom he is preaching to? Why is there two faces of God? One, coming with peace and love; and the other coming with hellfire and damnation. Is God a hypocrite? Can God be all-good and still cast judgement upon people? If God was all-good then his judgements would be all-good, minus the hellfire and damnation, right?
Why would God come to cast division and war by means of peace? Can there be a peace without judgement?

God is holy and thus is for holiness and thus judges evil...and He is also loving and merciful and gives us mercy that many of us don't deserve, such as dying for us and allowing forgiveness of us all. But if you choose not to repent and recieve it and turn from your ways that are displeasing to God, then He will judge you due to your own choices. He's holy and doesn't play w/ sin.

God's judgements are just and righteous, because He's a righteous God. As long as there is evil...there can't be true peace...hence judgement of evil. What do you mean God causes division by war?

Anyway a verse even says:Rom 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

I would say that God is complex and multifaceted like that because that's how the truth is. The truth is too big and grand to fit into dichotomies like love vs. hate and peace vs. war. The world is not black and white, but like all things, gray.

God always gives opportunity for repentance before His judgement comes.

Jesus is the reconciler of God and man - in Him we have peace with God and access to relationship with Him - otherwise God's holiness would burn us to a crisp before we ever could get near.....

God is all-good and all-holy. In whatever case His character or His dealings with man conflict with a human's idea of "good" - it's the human's idea of "good" that is in error.
