DOES OUR VIEW OF THE FUTURE EFFECT OUR CONDUCT NOW???
The beast that was and is not and yet is, ascends out of the bottomless pit and goes into perdition and those whose names are not written in the book of life (NB: from the foundation of the world) shall wonder
Along with the false prophet the beast is thrown alive into the lake of fire (it seems reasonable at this point to speculate that the lake of fire and perdition may well be the same thing and if this is the case, then they are not the bottomless pit/abyss (greek 5421 prison) from which the beast previously ascended. Therefore the lake of fire must be the destination for the destruction of the wicked ones whereas it seems the bottomless pit may be for the wicked spirits a place of holding or restraint/punishment.
The bottomless pit has a key (of some sort NB the key may be a key of understanding since the other angels, when they come, work by human agencies in inspiring them with understanding which then results in a message with transforming power. Eg the everlasting gospel etc)
That satan should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years is fulfilled is not a clear statement that all life has left earth. It is a clear statement that satan is unable to deceive the nations, not that the nations have ceased to exist. It is unecessary to state that satan is unable to deceive nations that no longer exist and if it were the case, a divine intellect could make it far clearer by saying the nations no longer exist therefore satan has no one to deceive BUT SCRIPTURE DOES NOT SAY THIS.
Daniel 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth This is a clear description of the breakdown and demise of all earthly/manmade governments being then swept away to be displaced by the kingdom of God (and His saints)
45: Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. This stone starts out small and grows until it has displaced all else. It is not an achievement of humanity but it surely impacts on human governments and systems. It fills the whole earth. What is the purpose of Gods kingdom filling the whole earth if the earth is uninhabited??? Shall we not see righteousness fill the face of the earth??? Will it not be the result of His doctrine distilling upon the earth??? Upon whom will it distill if the earth is vacant??? What of the wretched condition of a creation that groans and travails awaiting the manifestation of a people who are swept away into space BEFORE THEY CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE??? The point of this document is to awake us to the role we play BEFORE THE VISIBLE RETURN OF JESUS BECAUSE THAT IS NOW!!!
This is not a challenge to existing belief, it is an appeal to consider that there may be more light yet to this equation, light which involves our participation. If it is Truth, it will fit not by displacing existing Truth but by embracing it and making it more complete/perfect.

Would it not be reasonable for the saints of the most high to enjoy life on this very planet together showing forth the goodness of life under Christs rule for a thousand years as they review the books? Satan could not then assert that he had been given a faulty earth for the trial of his government because Christs own servants will have lived the excellent life right here demonstrating that Satan was put at no disadvantage in terms of the environment supplied for his way? Not only that, but the captive exile would be able to experience the futility of fruitlessly tempting those who through Jesus have gained the victory and are able to live the life Adam and Eve should have(including Adam and Eve themselves) Now this would be a wonderful rest for the tired old earth as it experiences the grateful, healing, caring hands of the children of God manifest.
7: And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8: And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
It is reasonable to say that at this point of satan being loosed the second resurrection has occurred because the wicked are there to be deceived.
Does heaven have to be many light years away? Is this demonstrated in scripture? Where is the garden of Eden now?
Genesis3: 23: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24: So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
Consider please the reality of the electromagnetic spectrum. A small fraction of the electromagnetic spectrum is able to be interpreted by our eyes as vision. A small amount is able to be interpreted by our ears as sound. The majority of the electromagnetic spectrum which is real exists, but we humans do not now have the senses to perceive it. We might call it the spiritual realm, or possibly even heaven if this is so, and God is a spirit, then this realm is His kingdom. It would then encompass all of the reality we perceive but also, much much more. We may even be existing interdimensionaly with Eden but unable to enter.

30: And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.
31: So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
32: And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
Why has God given us the account of LEGION? Is God a waster of words? I think not, He is the one who was able to convey His eternal self existence as absolute and perfect creative loving all powerful consciousness and so much more, simply by saying I AM . God manifest as Jesus shows us His perfect love and by this we know that He is concerned to have us know Him and be in harmonious relationship with Him. He is not going to clutter the scriptures with meaningless short stories for us to search through. The account of legion is given three times because it needs to be viewed from at least three perspectives. Consider the meanings of Deep, Country, and in Mathew the revelation that if they were to be cast out they would enter into torment unless they could possess the swine. What are we being told here??? This scripture is not a figurative account but an actual reality? This scripture reveals something about the human/demon relationship and about the vulnerability of demons when cast out of their human victims.

Luke10: 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
If heaven is the spirit realm and Satan & co have been cast out, they can only experience through occupying/possessing flesh forms(this is why they are so artful at using the desires of the flesh to captivate us for their very existence is tied up in it). The battle has been fought and won. There is no place anymore in heaven for such entities and if humankind should grasp the significance of scripture where demon possession is concerned and take hold of the strength of God and make peace with Him. Where would be any place of effective existence for Satan &co???
