My hat goes off to the police. This is not a police state and they were very patient while he yells at them for not doing anything accept providing crowd control. They were hurting no one but he screams accusations that they were.

He is a citizen and I salute his right to speak his mind but that doesn't make him correct in what he is doing.

Our news services have been doing a poor job covering this protest. I see them putting up videos that do not show the full story, yet they act as if the problem is "either" the police's fault "or" the protesters fault. These problems usually are not fully one or the other's fault but a mixture of over reactions.

There is case after case of police brutality coming out of this, but you are correct this video does not show the events leading up to this. Police in riot gear were forcing protesters out of the medical staging area.

Facebook is not the place to get real news. It is a place to get one side of the issue, something like Fox News. I want to get an unbiased account.

Police have a duty to enforce the law and protect the rights of all people and "IF" the protesters are violating the law and interfering with people's right to conduct their own business, then they need to be moved out of the area.

I, personally, am all for this protest, "BUT" protesters need to be under control or accept the fact that they will be just as responsible for any violence which may occur.

That is very difficult right now because most all reports are by groups biased by those for and against the protest. I did see a panel discuss this on MSNBC which talked about it in a fairly unbiased way. They were trying to figure our what the truth was, though they admitted that it would take more time to know for sure.

I respect you Yarddog, but I do disagree on this. I believe in the people and think the real voice has less of an agenda than media. The great thing about the Occupy Wall St. page I linked is you can read the comments from actual protesters in real time and their are a few hundred shy of 250000 of them

Just click on "Everyone (Most Recent)"
tab on the wall and you can really, over time get a feel for what is going on.

but I do disagree on this.

I have no problem with that I have a lot of experience with people as eye unreliable witness accounts. Also, with the unreliability of news sources.

I believe in the people and think the real voice has less of an agenda than media.

Which media, the right or the left? Both have completely different aspects of these stories because they want to promote their sides position.

The great thing about the Occupy Wall St. page I linked is you can read the comments from actual protesters in real time and their are a few hundred shy of 250000 of them

I support their position 100% and I hope that it leads to sweeping reforms on Wall St.

Both have an agenda, I of course lean left and watch CNN when I do watch news. I also listen to Thom Hartman. Bernie Sanders seems like the only politician that isn't corrupted. 1 out of hundreds...

That being said, aside from Fareed Zakaria who always seem to speak the unbiased truth, I see an agenda coming from most things I watch on CNN whether or not I agree with them is a different topic.

Agreed. I consider myself somewhat moderate because I disagree with the left on some items but I disagree with the Tea Party and the new Republican, far right politics, on almost everything. They would consider me a far left socialist pig. But then, they would also consider Reagan a lefty.
