  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Oh, boy. My nerves are shot to pieces. No, they didn't have to score 2 goals, they had to score five.

1-0 after full time.
1-0 after extra time.
4-2 on penalties. :)

Well, before the shoot-out, the commentators asked everyone in Australia who was religious to pray, and I did...

We're off to Germany, everybody!!!

maybe the fact that their the first Australian team in over 30 years to do it? that they've been through years of heartbreak, near misses, and lying officials? maybe that's got something to do with it?
sorry Sepp Blatter, all your lying still couldn't stop australia making the world cup.

something about the Ref not being very good ............................;) :D
the ref was woeful the whole way through, Uruguay shouldn't have even scored in the first game.
the reason i mentioned sepp blatter was that he promised if he was elected president of fifa he would give an oceania team direct entry to the world cup, then 'changed his mind' (i.e. lied). but no matter how much he lied, you can't stop the spirit of an aussie!
also, did anyone hear the president of the english football association saying how he hoped there would be an australia vs. england world cup final? wouldn't it just be the best!!!!!! some revenge for the ashes, oh how sweet! and, australia flogged england 5-0 in their last friendly, so, who knows??
