(yeah, I can totally get behind the wish I could fly, thing too. )

Would you mind sharing your testimony with us? :) (how you became a Christian)

Yes Mam! Sign me up . . .

Of course I will share my testimony. Here is the short version:
A few months after I had our youngest son (March of 1985), my sister (unbeknownst to me) had started to attend a church where we were living in Texas. Not long after she took Jesus as her Lord and Savior, she came to me and told me about The Good News. She was so excited I couldn't help but "catch" watch she had. Her and the Pastor who was working with her and her boyfriend (at the time) led me to Christ shortly after. I was baptized at the same time in a wonderful loving Church of Christ in Round Rock, TX. Awesome group of people that embraced me and my sons. It was just like what I always pictured "paradise" to be like only maybe on a smaller scale :)

I did however and sadly fall away from the Lord not to long thereafter (about 1.5 yrs) and ended up going down a really difficult unnecesary road (as some of us have to for some reason :0) I made some really bad choices during that time, which is one of the reasons I chose the username "woman.at.the.well."

Ironcially though -- and as is always God's grace and style -- my messy life is what led me right back to Christ years and years later (3.5 yrs ago to be exact). He spoke softly to me in my desert/wilderness, drew me right back to Him and there's no turning back now!

Do I hear an Amen?

What is your favorite thing about Christmas?

rededicated my life to Christ 3.5 yrs ago . . .my favorite thing about Christmas is trying to remind people what the blessed holiday is for and seeing the look on their face when you remind them. I use to get kind of depressed around this time of year. Seemed like things were always so icky when I was on that bad road. But ever since I came back to Him, He has renewed my zeal and joy for the season like I never imagined possible.

I also love being with family and friends. The smells -- cookies baking and turkey's roasting, etc. Decorating the tree. Hanging the lights. It's hard to say one thing!

Good question.
