I just pictured putting doggy shoes on my dog's feet. ROTFLOL! She'd eat them. (even if they were tin foil. Seriously. She's the chew master and eats everything. She even chewed the downspouts on our house.)

What kind of dogs do you have?

LOL! It wouldn't surprise me if my pups did that too until they got use to them! Especially Jasmine . . . she's a little stinker!

I have two muts that we are not really sure what they are but seem to favor pitbull mixes. They are absolutely adorable and loveable! I wouldn't trade them in for anything! Matter of fact if I ever got kicked out of my apt. and couldn't re rent I'd live in my car with them! Silly huh?

Chocolate pointing lab. Can't blame her for chewing, she is bread to keep birds in her mouth. So, I guess everything she can get her mouth around is a bird.

Hubby hunts pheasant, and I wanted a dog that's good with kids. Labs fit the bill well. She's 2 and 1/2.

How old are your pooches?

They are so cute and most always excellent animals-very well tempered, and easy to train :0).

I am staying at my son's place watching my granddaughter (speaking of things in a dog's mouth-YIKES) and they have a beautiful Persian cat that was almost Tison's lunch this afternoon! EEK!!! Gave me a heartattack to be sure. Now if I can just get the little one (little HUH! she weighs 64 lbs) to stop snagging my granddaughter's stuffed animals we'll be doing good this weekend!

Tison is going to be 5 in september (we think, he was a stray so it's a guestimate); and Jasmine is about 2.5 (another guestimate cause she was a stray too).

Hey! I am playing on a couple of these again, and thought I would throw a question out here for you.

Tell me about where you grew up and what it was like.....

hi faithmom! how have you been? i'm glad you got these going again! good idea!

as for my story . . . that is a loaded question. since i lived in 3 states while growing up. i was born in ct and lived there til i was four and from what i remember it was an awesome place to live-our family was and is still living in ct; i remember lots of hills and green (which i miss terribly living in the desert now as you can imagine); then we moved to pa. where i lived til i was 15-and had a blast living and growing up there with all friends and relatives still pretty close by to visit on weekends etc. then the last place i lived before becoming an adult was here in az. where i am at now and it was a GREAT experience finishing up my childhood as a desert rat riding motorcycles, swimming in the lake and getting into trouble as teenagers are prone to do!

Other than Christ and God (biblicals...like appostles or Mary, because we all know why we are here at CF)...who has been your greatest hero/heroine/mentor/inspiration in your life? (You can have multiple answers, dead or alive, fiction or non-fiction...you know me, I'm not hung up on rules when it comes to people expressing who they are).

#1 goes to Mom and Dad. Amazing couple there and I'm really proud of them. They will be married 50 years on Jan. 10th, 2009 and we're going to have a big celebration for them! But the did a phenomenal job and I just feel very blessed to be their daughter.

#2 would have to be my son's for enduring the growing up years under their crazy mother's realm and for turning out so well in spite of how crazy their life was.

#3 goes to my daughter-in-law to be. She lost her best friend and mother all in one shot a couple years ago when her mom passed away and she just hangs tough; is an excellent mother to my grandchildren; and always has a smile on her face. She's quite the young lady.

#4 right now I really look up to a dear sister in Christ and friend of mine by the name of Joan. She is something else. I wish I had HALF her energy and drive. Just an amazing woman who is always on the go; who has an unbelievable zeal and heart for God; and who is ALWAYS helping God's people in some way and blessing them.
