Do you have Sunday dinner plans? I'll be making a penne pasta in a simple pomodoro sauce tossed with grape tomatoes, fresh basil and fresh mozzarella cheese. Maybe a nice glass of Pinot Noir or Sangviovese. Simple but yummy!!

You'd have been welcome:thumbsup:

I like the quiet eves to myself too though - I don't get enough of those, although I will this coming fall when my daughter moves into her sorority house. We'll be empty nesters:sigh:

Do you have a favorite place that you'd like to retire to?

Personally, I'm narrowed down to Traverse City, Michigan or Asheville, North Carolina. Of course, I'd have to talk my church into moving with me - otherwise I stay where I am.

OK - now I don't mean this to be a morbid question, but . . . . assuming that all family members are safe, what one thing would you take with you if you had to evacuate your house in an emergency (i.e. housefire)?

(Since most people say photographs, assume they're ok and choose something else!)

i really don't have an answer for that. even though i've lived in several cities and states in our great country i still have soooooooo much to see. once i do a bit more travelling i'll be able to answer that better.

if i HAD to pick one place now i'd have to say it would be arizona (my homestate). we have so many different climates here. if you head north you can see lots of green and get some snow. head south you get the beautiful picturesque desert (best sunsets in all the world i think).

all the photos - baby pics and all. then . . . i would have to take my bible and journal and pens and of course, as every woman would probably say, my purse! lol!

i assume you mean ALL family members too -- including the hairy ones - feathered and furred :0)
