Did anyone see Good Morning America this morning (12/13/04)? I can't find the link anywhere on their site. It was this segment on the growth rate of American Born-again Christians, our mega churches and our affect on politics. They said a recent Gallup poll puts the Born-again Christian population in America at 40 percent. That seemed kind of high to me, but pretty darn cool!

They showed a picture of Jerry Fallwell, and had a very small segment with Joyce Meyer - which made me wonder if it wasn't something they're covering in more detail on another news program. If anyone saw it, or knows more about it, let me know!

ABC news had a segment last week on "The New Televangelist". They spoke with TD Jakes, Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyer. They have regularly included a segment on religion since the election. They have partnered with beliefnet so there may be some links there.
