If you are unable to tell the difference between weather and climate that laughing smiley should be directed at yourself.
It's been my suspicion for some time now that people (usually on the far right) do not reject evolution and global warming out of a methodical evaluation of the evidence but rather because it conflicts with what they've sacralized. If one has, as some people on the right tend to, sacralize (and fetishize) a literal interpretation of religious creation stories as well as free market capitalism, then it is not surprising to see why these two are so vigorously attacked. Given that there really hasn't surfaced any private market solution to combat global warming but instead calls for lifestyle changes, carbon taxes, stricter regulation and more government spending, far-right dogmatists chose to reject its entirety altogether (or some modified version of it, such as rejecting the anthropogenic aspect of it). Whether these policies are terrible, good or otherwise is no reason to reject descriptive science.
