So... I saw D's post on in the Fellowship Lounge and I wanted to comment on hair coloring. Thought maybe we'd spare the guys that convo.
Anyway, I got my hair professionally colored for the first time this week. Dang -- it turned out really well! I can't believe that I feel better about myself because of it, but I do! I had colored my hair twice before using over-the-counter stuff. It covered the grey a little bit, but also seemed to leave my hair flat. I don't know what stuff my hair dresser uses, but it is GOOD. My hair actually *feels* and "moves" better than it did before!
Being as I am on the older side (at least, among the singles I hang out with), I was actually starting to feel embarrassed about my grey hair. Now I feel like I'm me -- only better!Anyone else feel this way about a beauty treatment? Geez, who knew?

I did the same thing a few months ago. I had some color I had bought a while back, but it doesn't expire as long as it hasn't been opened, so I went ahead and did it! (I was bored!!) I was really impressed at how good I felt!! I can't afford to have it done, but since I was a hairdresser at one time, I figured I could do it okay. My boss used Clairol in her shop, anyway, so I figured it would work!!
