I went looking for pictures of Conan Stevens because he's of that size and looks like he'd be terrifying in battle... but then hilariously I found out he played Goliath in a TV series.

Hafþór Björnsson (yes I did have to copy-paste that name), who also played the Mountain along with Stevens in GoT, is exactly 6'9 and would be terrifying to see in battle.

It seems quite reasonable to me that the oldest sources are probably the more reliable ones here, rather than the later Masoretic Text.

This is my opinion I believe that many things were not included in the bible on purpose. If everything was included people would be spooked all of the time. Nothing would be hidden. Just as most Christians want the bible to say something in exact words. Jesus talk to the people in parables. They didn't understand. He wanted them to seek understanding through the Holy Spirit, because their minds were carnal. They couldn't understand the heavenly meaning. They only understood earthy.

Actually, he has taken several breaks over time. That's probably all it is, but it would be nice to know.
