No one in this thread has ever denied that scriptures speak of "sons of God".

I never have.

What I have and always will stand against is the myth of 40 foot, or even 450 foot tall "giants".
I don't know about the sizes.
I'm guessing 20 ft max.
But i don't know.
I don't know how giant footprints that are found around the world got there, but some are HUGE.
But i would agree it's physically / biologically impossible beyond a certain size, because of blood pressure and stress on the bones.

Ok---Now you've done it!! The bible does not say that God had sex with Mary to produce Jesus!! Does not, does not!!
Hey, take it easy.
Please read carefully.
I NEVER EVER implied what you think here.

In this case, the "debunkers" are right. Their "debunking" was enough to convince both the Institute for Creation Research (who agreed that the claims were false) and the producers of the original "Footprints In Stone" film (who stopped selling the film).

The new film has, if anything, even less credibility.
Okay, i will read the debunking.
But:

Delk.jpg

Nothing as sophisticated as CGI. Just carvings made to look like rocks with human footprints, misinterpretation of what are actually dinosaur footprints, and a bunch of worthless interviews.
So no real proof for fakery then.
Only vague hunches of some conspiracy.
Okay.

They were not "oogie-boogie hunter-gatherers," they were city-dwellers. Obviously.

And they did it the slow way: crowds of men, ropes, long ramps, and so forth. And patiently grinding the stones to size, the way that sculptors have always done.

Really?

I have no idea why you posted that -- we know the Romans quarried that stone and built that temple.[/QUOTE]

That one had a man standing on it and was a good pic to reference to its size.
Enormous stones stacked on each other is what a megalith is.
My only point is that we could not reproduce these things if we wanted, so there is a great mystery as to how they were built, when and who did it. I just like the subject. I have no idea if there were giants.

I feel lately like posting on this site is like throwing rocks at a bees nest.

Let those who ridicule remain blind. When it comes to cognitive dissonance no amount of proof will change their mind. Opening their eyes to things like this would so destabilize their worldview that it would lead to chaos for them. The mental and spiritual fortitude is missing. Continuing to argue with those who choose to stay asleep is akin to entering a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent - pointless.

The picture you posted was of the Stone of the Pregnant Woman in Baalbeck. It was quarried by the Romans during the construction of the nearby Temple of Jupiter. There is no mystery there.

That one's an obvious fake. See here for an analysis.
I have to (reluctantly) admit they have good arguments against it.
Also against other alleged human(oid) footprints.
I also have to admit i haven't been critical towards the claims and evidence from the YEC side.
I guess i have been gullible and naive..
I'll have to look into it further to make up my mind, if that's possible at all.
Apart from one of the men who carved the footprints admitting it.
I haven't come across confessions yet, but folks will do anything for a buck or a little fame, or even to fool others...

I can only thank you for pointing me to another side of the story, so thanks.

Even if that is true, they are nowhere near the height that is described in a certain book.

God Bless

Till all are one.

Well thats the goal of the devil. Anything dramatic like a 30 foot human skeleton would FREAK the public out and they would demand answers, AND it COMPLETELY goes against the evolution-based society we live in where it is taught as fact in public schools, etc so tje government hides it, because it would disturb the satanic world system... Giant skeletons clearly goes against evolution and the ONLY answer for these giant skeletons is found in the Bible

Very convenient: lack of evidence becomes proof of a conspiracy to hide it! The fact that it has been 'hidden' is supposed to add weight to the proposition of giants!

So far, how much proof have I seen? Zero!
Here are the results of DNA testing done on skulls found in Paracas, Peru -
DNA Results Of Peru Skulls Reveal Non-human ‘Nephilim’ Origin
and
http://portaltoascension.org/article/dna-results-paracas-elongated-skulls-brien-foerster/
At the very least this shows that: 1) These skulls are from a people group not fully human, and 2) what is told as solid fact about the dispersement of peoples throughout the globe is wrong and needs to be reexamined.

I know an hour video can seem rather long however if you wish to know the facts and the science behind a small bit of the work being done on these it's worth the watch. The work on DNA analysis is being continued with other bones and takes time due to government restrictions.

No worries.

One of the problems with videos is that they rush you through the story without letting you know that there is another side.

The first link just repeats an unreliable story that has been circulating for many years.

The second link repeats a more recent story we have already discussed: that the skulls are perfectly human, but that their ancestry is surprising.

Obviously these stories disagree with each other.

Seems like Biblical literalists have a pretty low bar when it come to EMPIRICAL evidence.
Perhaps, but speaking for myself, it has a lot to do with the naturalistic beliefs we have been force fed under the guise of science, for which there is no empirical evidence either (evolution from exploding point to us).
There is apparently an elitist agenda behind making the Bible lose credibility (there's compelling evidence for that).
So you start looking for alternatives, hoping to find the truth.
And as a Christian, it's attractive to seek and find evidence in support of Scripture.
And i think it's no secret (or shouldn't be) that the Biblical history from Genesis 9 or 10 onwards is supported by historical evidence, or evidence is not (yet) found or there is no evidence to debunk it.
But it seems i have been naive in taking YEC evidence and apologetics for granted.
Maybe i'll decide to remain uncertain eventually, we'll see where it will lead.

I apologize for being unreasonable at times.
