Hi, I've been on the site for quite a while, mostly in the Deeper Fellowship section (Beloved Jesus and The Bride of Christ Thread), but this is my first time in the singles section. I am 47 years old and looking for more fellowship, especially with people close to my own age. I love Jesus very much (not nearly as much as He loves me!), and enjoy being filled with the Holy Spirit on a regular and dynamic basis. I can say this because the scripture that says, "Be not drunk with wine, but be ye filled with the Holy Spirit," uses a continuous tense in the Greek ("be ye being filled").
Jesus is the love of my life, but I would be willing, if I found the right man, to share it with another who feels the same way. I don't believe I have the money to look for a mate on e.harmony.com, and I'm not desperate for a husband, but I wonder if I might learn to love more if I had one. There are practical reasons it might be a good idea to get married, too. I am generally shy in groups like at church, so it's hard to get to know others in person. I do better on the Internet, where people can bare their souls without starting with small talk, which I'm not good at.
I am a writer and am especially interested in meeting people who enjoy reading, editing, publishing, and/or writing, but I am happy to fellowship with anyone who loves the Lord.

Hellooooo, well I'm not new ot CF, have just been dormant for a few months.... . Kind of got sidetracked with Facebook.....had many times of fellowship there, and of course meeting staunch atheists there.

It's wonderful tho to see so many familiar faces here on CF..... and of course I find myself yet once again here on the Mature singles thread...... well, between here and the non-believers thread.

Hi everyone. I am not new to CF, just this thread. I am looking for godly female friendships. I tend to isolate myself due to my work. I am caregiver to my mom. My dad helps quite a bit, but he is having health issues himself. I am currently seeking a church home, but in the meantime I am cultivating friendships via the Internet. Have a good weekend.
