  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Cool here again and windy, we have not turned our A/C on once. I have a feeling we are going to have a very early winter, leaves already are dropping from one of our trees.

my ac has been on practically every day. what a difference in weather. sounds lovely there.

I've been wondering about that. Sounds lovely. Never been there but heard it's suppose to be really neat. Very lucky. I really like being by the beach. Enjoy the sound of water.

I don't live by the ocean (been there though). I do live around several lakes. Two in particular. Lots of park area. There's a park on an island near here I love going to. Not only lovely in summer but beautiful in fall with the colored leaves over hanging the roads. The fall colored trees along the water are pretty as well. I use to go out there even more frequently than I do now. Use to go there to be inspired, writing poetry, art. I also love the mountains haven't been there for a long while but I'd love to go back. It'd be nice to plan a trip there one of these summers. Yeah, I do love the mountains.
