Me too, some. The B-builders wield well the importance of diet to get to where you want to be. This is such a recurring message from them, there must be substantial cred to it.I’m addicted to junk food.
I had McDonald’s late the other night.
This needs to stop.
My left foot was turned around backwards when I was born. They put it in a cast to straighten it, so it is a size smaller than the right and doesn’t have the flexibility and mobility that the right foot has. The ankle bothers me sometimes.Sorry to hear that! About 7-yrs ago (weight training was non-existent), Doc said I need a MRI too because it was like I had an increasing loss of strength in my lower legs (both) and said my ankles were "deformed"? A number of times, I could have easily just fallen over. MRI did not reveal any tell-tale why the ankles were puffy. But the podiatrist's inserts corrected all. WooHoo!
"Supersets" ol' Leo, my break-in trainer (early 80s) used to say with limited conviction was that rapid-fire approach. I suppose, he really didn't allow patience to guide Him through the eventual progress, no? That wasn't something I gravitated to, I had my hands full just staying in the game.
Sorry I missed the above picture. Oh heck yeah!! Don't tell me your on the plus side of that now???
I’m reading a book called Bright Line Eating and I’m going to try the diet. The author has been on mushrooms, LSD, crack, and crystal meth but says that food was the hardest addiction to overcome. She says we are addicted to sugar, artificial sweetener and flour.Me too, some. The B-builders wield well the importance of diet to get to where you want to be. Pretty sure most interested in health will concur on cold-turkey of such till completely avoided. I don't wish to throw water on that but, might extract more interest if that outlook wasn't so iron-clad.I’m reading a book called Bright Line Eating and I’m going to try the diet. I haven’t read all of it yet but she said any approach based on will power will eventually fail. Will power is like gas in a tank and every decision you make is draining it, so I’m curious what her approach will be.Pretty sure most interested in health will concur on cold-turkey of such till completely avoided. True, cold-turkey would more likely produce results faster and better. What of the fence straddler's?

I just bought it on Kindle. I am reading The Obstacle Is The Way and Bright Line Eating and will finish those then start on this book. ThanksRead: Willpower: Rediscovering the Greatest Human Strength by Roy Baumeister and John Tierney.
I don't normally do "self help" books, but honestly this is an amazing book that really does give a necessary practical perspective when dealing with self control.
I've read this book twice... I seriously seriously recommend. It's likely something you can pick up inexpensively, it's not a new publication.
