  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Ooh I have to change my mind. One thing about the charts, such as the one that I posted, they are always changing as the news sources are rerated with a heavier bias to more recent stories. When Trump was President CNN was strongly opposed to them and that hurt their reliability rating a bit. Now that Trump is out of office the reporting of CNN is less biased and they are up into the green rectangle again of being reliable source:

very true but I think that we all know that they will only report it if they absolutely are forced to because it does not fit the liberal agenda. What is funny is that you totally disregard the fact that the liberal media is liberal.
That is not true at all. By the way, CNN has been rerated. See my previous post.

You appear to be making the mistake that many conservatives, and it is made by many liberals too, that anything that does not agree with you is "liberal". I have seen liberals calling middle of the road sources "conservative". They make, as I said, the same errors that you make.

Not really. Trump was such a trainwreck that it drove their ratings sky high. Now things are back to normal. Politics are mostly boring again and people do not watch the news as much as they used to.

Vote fraud has been discovered in a number of states, some convictions have occurred, tens of thousands of votes have been discovered to have been cast by non-voters, but of course that's not important.

Really? Tens of thousands of illegal votes? From what book of fairy tales did you acquire this disinformation? If anyone attempted to commit election fraud, it's Donald Trump himself. He's on tape pressuring GA's Sec. of State to "find" 11,700+ votes that could be thrown out as fraudulent. Thus giving him GA's 16 EVs. To his credit, Sec. Raffensperger refused. And the Fulton Co. DA may bring state charges against Trump for criminal solicitation to commit election fraud. (Though I think the state of NY has first dibs on him for possible financial malfeasance.)

In any case, instead of harping on fabricated crackpot notions of massive voter fraud, the 2020 election should be approached scientifically. Republicans need to focus on legitimate polling data and demographics to determine what went wrong in 2020. The linked article from Pew is interesting. Joe Biden did well among younger, college educated, suburban, and independent voters. Especially in several key swing states. That was largely his margin of victory. Republicans have to do better with these cohorts.

CNN on air is not the best source, but it is still far superior to the source that the OP used. The New York Times on the other hand has a high reliability even though it is left center.

https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/new-york-times/

Of course if those are not good enough the OP could always go with Reuters or the AP. In fact anything within the green rectangle of the chart below would be good enough.

Please note, the New York Times is in the green rectangle. CNN is not. Though CNN is still barely within the fair interpretation of the news.
What baloney, the New York Times is a leftist propaganda publication according to the Valletta fact checker.

I have never heard of this "Valletta fact checker". How do we know that it is not a bunch of right wing loons?

EDIT: I just now realized that your user name is Valletta. Sorry, you do not qualify as a fact checker. There is no " Valletta fact checker".

Yes. And I dearly wish that the people who pretend to know all about what's going on would do some study of the events before posting. That would save some of them from having to express their astonishment later on.

Nothing much. Vote fraud has been discovered in a number of states, some convictions have occurred, tens of thousands of votes have been discovered to have been cast by non-voters, but of course that's not important. Nor is the attempt to make permanent the mailing of millions of ballots to unknown persons each election and counting them without knowing who filled them out. It's all okay because "voter suppression," you know.

....like in Arizona where yesterday the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors released a report from county elections officials indicating...

"Our analysis found that Cyber Ninjas made faulty and inaccurate conclusions about more than 53,000 ballots in 22 categories."

Out of 2.1 million ballots cast, county elections found 37 cases of potential voter fraud and 50 instances in which a ballot may have been counted twice.

All you're showing by that point is that they are not striking out in all direction and making irresponsible charges.

Doing that, if it were the case, would strengthen the argument that the GOP was just trying to find something where they didn't have any reason to suspect it was there.

In reality, the GOP has tried for an investigation in only the states where the evidence is the strongest and appears to have cost their candidate the victory.
What a load! The GOP tried to investigate almost exclusively where Trump lost. They were scanning for bamboo in Arizona!

All you are showing is that you cannot follow the direction of the OP and simply tell us 'What is your state doing?'

Besides, since you already know Biden won fair and square and is the legitimate POTUS, what's up with more conspiracy?

In a few minutes as I am writing this, Joe Biden is scheduled to deliver a January 6 address to the nation.

This is the man who promised, upon being elected, to unite the nation. He has decried division and disunity.

This today is his chosen moment for either honoring his promise to the American people by preaching on unity and healing...OR to do the opposite in hopes of reviving his standing in the polls by further dividing the country with an ugly address focused on denigrating the American people and pointlessly attacking the previous President who isn't even in elective office now.

LET'S SEE WHICH JOE BIDEN STEPS UP TO THE MICROPHONE.

Untrue. Republicans are not willing to be united with him. The blame is not Biden's

The same thing they did with Benghazi. They knew pretty quick they were never going to be able to pin anything thing on Clinton but they kept doing investigation after investigation to keep it in the news in the hopes that some low information voters might see a slight possibility of impropriety on her part and not vote for her.

It’s the same play here. They know Biden won fair and square but they will keep doing these investigations for the same reason. If they actually had a platform to run on they probably could do that instead but unfortunately it appears they do not.

I wouldn't call a source trustworthy if they only report reliably when "their guy" is in office.

It is not quite like that. Trump was unique. In the over two hundred years of Presidents he is definitely one of the three worst. CNN was not that bad when Bush was President. Trump had the strange ability to make almost everyone worse.

People have studied. They have not found such evidence. It is your claim. Please post a valid source that supports it.

He did not specify states. He probably already knows that Biden won Arizona, fair and square. Hmm, maybe it was Texas.
