One man’s “genuine proof” is another man’s “twaddle”?

Yeah, of course, this is the essence of politics, “where do we agree to meet, to hash things out?”

As a society we used to have different venues to sort through the (if not acceptable then) tolerable aspects of [political] behavior (and thought).

We used to do most of our actual “politics” in the various congresses and legislatures throughout our land. Now with the glory of the Internet we have moved a significant chuck of that to social media and debate boards much more so that in the past, (when, of course the “internet” was the corner bar (or church)), so the volume of discourse has gone way UP, but the qualities of this discourse has come way down because it turns out that politics and remaining civil with our fellow citizens is much, much harder than “my team good, your team evil”.

I have wanted to start a thread along the lines of
“Post something that you like about “the other side”
but haven’t because I know it’ll get locked, but quick!

If you are talking about mail in ballots we know that did not happen in Georgia. How? Ballots have to have the signature of the person that voted. Those are confirmed during elections. But after crazy allegations occurred Georgia did an audit on the country where it was claimed that this happened. Guess what? They could not find fraud. How are you going to match tens of thousands of signatures?

1.Sworn statements are not evidence; they are allegations and have to be shown to be credible to have any value. I did not find any sworn statements in the link provided.

2. The mysterious van, again. No van was ever found, no sign of votes unloaded at 4.00 am.

3. The oversight of the count, again. There were hundreds of affidavits presented at court and I read many of them myself. I could not find any allegations of actual wrong-doing by vote counters. There were complaints about not being up close at the height of the covid pandemic. The lawyers prosecuting the case agreed with the judge that there was no evidence of fraud.

There is nothing to see in Georgia, but there are people who want to blow smoke in the eyes of the credulous.

Not November 2020; not the actual election for office but primaries in which all the votes cast were for Democratic hopefuls.

I will look for evidence in the other sources offered when I get the chance. I am always hopeful that somebody will provide actual evidence to expose the alleges systematic fraud.

The disconnect between these sorts of claims and the ones made where there are actual consequences for not telling the truth - for example, in the numerous court cases Donald's supporters lost - is quite peculiar.

Nope. I am not changing my story. You do not seem to understand it. Yes, if convicted Trump could not hold office again. What was wrong with that? If the Republicans could have been honest in the Senate that is what would have happened. And do you know who would be to blame for his inability to run again? It would be that of Trump.

Do you think that people are "conspiring to remove murderers from the street"? The person that is to blame for a murderer going to prison is the murderer. Not the people that convict him.
