Genesis 4:16-17a

"Then Cain went out from the presence of the Lord and dwelt in the land of Nod on the east of Eden. And Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch." Genesis 4:16-17a

Cain and Abel were Adam and Eve's children. Adam and Eve were the first humans to be made. How on earth did Cain go out and find a wife if Eve only bore 2 sons?

It doesnt say that Adam and Eve only had 2 children. It doesnt even say how long they went before they got kicked outta the garden, and they said childbirth would be painful afterwards they im guessing that they already had some kids, who knows how many, hundreds maybe. It didnt hurt so might as well they could have had tons of kids and only cain and abel were talked about in the scriptures.

Well with alot of all the other people in Genesis they list the important kids and say "and they had other sons and daughters." why couldnt they say that about Adam and Eve and get people confused?

Sometimes God chose to leave some things out of the bible, He wrote it so He should know Dont think He was trying to confuse you but there are other instances where things have been left out like the 18 years between jesus' childhood and his ministry. where did that go? God may not have had a purpose for it so He didnt add it

They skipped from age 12 to age 30? I thought he was younger than 12. Oh well. Maybe he didn't do anything important except follow The Lord in his footsteps. That absence I do not think confused anyone.
