But that is the very point of that part of the Sabbath commandment - that He is Creator. The text reads "FOR in six days..."

That's like saying "because".

So if we keep Sabbath [among several other reasons] as an aknowledgement of His role as Creator [we do it FOR he Created, because He created...] and if the text in Revelation - a text dealing with worship - echoes that commandment, how can we in any sense assume that it is seperated from the Sabbath issue.

That's a bigger leap then the one I made! ;)

LOL Through whom? The Jews or the Chinese?

Oh, THROUGH whom, well that's a different matter isn't it? I'm not being silly, I'm trying to take care that we don't slip off the trail here. The worldview presented in the book of Genesis and indeed in the entire of Scripture is God's. It was presented "by the prophets" (Hebrews 1:1)

I guess the question that we must ask is this. Is your God powerful enough to get you the information you need no matter who carries the message?

Mine is.

God bless you,
2Tim
That's my point. He uses a variety of messengers and He is partial to the living rather than to the dead.

Maybe you should consider Deut. 5:12-15. Take a good look at the real reason why the Sabbath was given to mankind.

12Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.

13Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:

14But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.

15And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

I'm curious why you added this. Jesus pointed to Daniel, a dead prophet.

NOTE to MODS: I know these post have been very short but me an Statrei are bouncing back and forth between two threads very quickly. Were having a conversations more than writing letters. it's cool!

He also referenced Moses. We have to understand what he was doing; what lesson He was teaching. God always is current. He does not do TV dinners well. He always cooks from scratch.

Okay sure. But you said "God prefers living messangers to dead ones." (in essence) And I'm pointing out that Jesus (God the Son) seemed pretty fond of the dead ones and never mentioned any living ones - so, where are you getting this?

Is there a text. Gimme Bible brother! :amen:

That is simple. There were no living ones when He was around. And when He left He sent His own representative.

Word for word? How come He did not tell him where to put the creation of water?

He did tell him where to put the creation of water,

Ge 1:1 In the beginning God created * the heaven and the earth.

Ge 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

So, water was created before the first day of creation. Is that what you believe?
