Well, first I would unscrew the thing...let the water out, then leave the thing sit for awhile with all it's internal parts just laying there for a few days...this will evaporate any moisture left over that hasn't already done damage, you may just get lucky...about 98% of the time, water will ruin an electornic device in some way, even rainwater could ruin it...I'm not really sure how a screen works on those things, i know newer ones the or at least DS uses LCD I THINK...I THINK, anyway, most of the time water will cause severe damage, in some cases tho the water gets trapped and is unable to reach areas where severe damage is possible, most likely ur most sever problem will be with the screen, it'll mess up the picture, the other thing, is that it will electoric itself basically and fry it's parts or whatever, although since it runs on batteries I don't know if that will happen...not to ruin any hopes or whatever, but i dropped my pocket pc in a dog dish (it was on the desk, the dish on the gorund) even the short amount of time it was in the dish was enough to ruin it, had to spend another 400 bucks to buy another one, which stunk cuz it cost 200 in the first place after rebates, so at least there is one good thing to come out of it, it will be cheaper now

Haha. This reminds me of when I went swimming with my GB Color in my trunks. It was fully submerged, heck it was filled to the brim with water. When I got out, water was inside it, so I shook the water out, and let it sit. Sure enouph, a day later after drying it worked fine, the same went for my Ghost Recon game for GBA. Dont worry about it, let it dry and it should work fine, just dont turn it on(untill it is dry). The reason why it wont work is probably not water damage, but because of electrical shorts. If worse comes to worse, call up Nintendo and they will replace it for free.

Let it dry out for about a week, in the sun is the best. If this does not help, you can always call or e-mail Nintendo to ask their advise (go to www.nintendo.com)!! They may tell you to send it to them so they can fix it, Nintendo should do this for a low price too!! ;) I love Nintendo!

I'm sorry about the SP, but I would throw that PS2 in the water :D
Heh heh... I'm close to doing that (wonder what it would look like in the summer time when it's been in the pool for a few months ;))
