this link from the site you mention says that "life could not have started from primordial soup" exactly what I was saying...

Creation Science Rebuttals, Institute for Creation Research, Dr. John's Q&A #6
Like I said it is an OEC site. If they are right then the YECs are wrong and their rebuttals of Morris are solid. They are wrong to say
"life could not have started from primordial soup"

They should say "science can not yet explain how life could have started naturally on earth or anyplace else in the universe."

Meanwhile I stand by my statement that OECs of various kinds and YECs can't all be right but they can all be wrong.

The site I referenced is OEC which itself a few varieties such as progressive, day age and Gap theory.
There is a description of the Creation/Evolution "continuum Here.

The Answers in Creation Site also has a discussion of various Old Earth Theistic beliefs.

so He is either progressive or theistic evolutionist? But doesn't clarify?

I think progressive creationist from what he says about abiogenesis and reasons to doubt evolution. All I know for sure is the site is not YECs. Other OEC sites are Accuracy in Genesis and Reasons to Believe. Hugh Ross is definitely not a theistic evolutionist.

I think the people at The Affiliation of Christian Geologists are mostly theistic evolutionist.

did notice that on one of his links he states that 40 percent of a pole he took was theistic evolutionist.

Everyone is a theistic evolutionist to some degree. Even Dr Dino. But there is so much error mixed in with the truth that some people do not want to be associated with all of that error.

The reason why the Bible is truth is because the people God inspired seperated themselves from the world and the error in the world and in Science.

Why call him Dr. Dino? He's MISTER Kent Hovind. Fake degree, serving a prison sentence of ten years for fraud.
Not a guy I'd trust. And not a guy I'd give even a whiff of support or acknowledgement. Which includes calling him dr. anything. I'd just as soon - if not sooner - recognize the degree of "Dr. Dre". At least he doesn't claim to have a real degree and is not serving a prison sentence for fraud. Sure, it's just 10 out of the total possible 280 or so, but... Being tried and convicted for charges that had even the possibility of leading to 280 years in prison sure does say a lot.

So it's okay to call Dr. Dre 'doctor', since he is being upfront about it?

He's not trying to pass himself off as a real doctor, no. Hovind, on the other hand, pretends that he's an actual doctor with actual qualifications - which he doesn't.

But Geocentric YECs, Heliocentric YECs, Gap theory OECs, Day Age OCEs. Progressive Creation OECs and Theistic evolutionists all disagree on what those errors are. They see very different "truth" in the Bible. Have you ever wondered why? You'd think believers would all agree on the "truth" if the writers really were inspired by God.

Again, so it's okay to call Dr. Dre 'doctor', since he's being upfront about it?

But what difference does that make to a non-believer, Frumious?

It would be just a matter of degree to them, would it not?

Would it make any difference at all if we all just pulled rank on you guys and said, "God did it," and left it at that?
