I was so scared that the guy I was with started really slow. While he was crawling along the path, for my benefit, he tipped the snowmobile on both of us.
BTW, I spent my early teens in northern BC. Snow from October to May.

I did! No sleeping in the tub for me. In order to safely take a bath I have to scrub the tub down completely. It is easier to shower.

Oh yes...it comes with being tall and blond (I am sure that happens to many who are stereotyped because of how they look).

Sure. It wouldn't matter if I discovered a new cleaner power source that would help end global warming and ensure the survival of the human species. People get stuck on my looks etc., and treat me with contempt. That is if they acknowledge me at all.

Have you ever wondered what fuels prejudice?

No, I find myself falling down the slippery slope of it now and then, when I land on my behind at the bottom, it is usually pretty clear that it came from my own stupidity and ignorance...and last I checked, Satan loves those tools a whole lot.

I have seen some pretty young children already having problems because of their parents thinking. I do know that my mother's attitude was fueled by fear which in turn had been insitlled by the fears of her mother.

HYE stood up to someone's predjudice when it put you in danger?

Absolutely. I've been beaten up by gangs since I was in the 6th grade, had my car vandalized, my animals killed. And I have to say, I don't think it's parents that instill prejudice. I think it's the attitude that it's no big deal and the complacency and "turn the other cheek" attitude that to avoid abuse you must accept it. Unless people stand up against it, it will never stop.

HYE had someone make a racial slur or joke at your expense to your face and then make fun of you for not thinking it was funny?
