Hakrev, this is simple and it will make sense once you understand how your body works! Your body needs fuel to run, ie: food! If you don't eat, your metabolism will slow down to conserve the fuel. Once your metabolism slows, you either don't lose weight or you will gain it. So, you've got to keep your metabolism constantly working - the best way is to feed your body small frequent and low fat meals/snacks and to burn calories by being active and building muscle.
