We don't need a college education to vote though, do we?Voters should absolutely be well-educated --- frivolous voting is one of the worst things about democracy!
Sounds to me like you were saying we need a higher education so we could get permission to procreate and vote.
Well, if someone is going to choose to wrap himself in a cocoon of ignorance and live the rest of his life w/o metamorphosing into a more knowledgeable butterfly of virtue, that's his prerogative. It irks me that people are AGAINST higher education; it irks me that people OPPOSE education. This is what I am saying.

I happen to have a college degree myself, but I don't fault those people who choose not to get one.
Not necessarily a college education, just a sound knowledge of what they're voting on. People who don't want to know yet insist upon voting are the bad ones.We don't need a college education to vote though, do we?
If your original Hebrew disagrees with my original King James --- your original Hebrew is wrong. If your original Hebrew agrees with my original King James, your original Hebrew is right. AV1611VET, Christian Forums [Comments (165)] [2006-Jul-20]
Is there a problem with that quote? There are a lot of things I have concluded to be wrong, without studying them in-depth. Evolution is one of them. The fact that I don't know that much about it does not bother me in the least. AV1611VET, Christian Forums [Comments (184)] [2006-Sep-12]
It does appear that way, doesn't it? My own personal opinion is that when the target audience is less informed and misinformed about the real world, they are more susceptible to superstitious beliefs, close-mindedness, ('final answer!' mentality), and the overall tribal, primitive, and divisive approach to it all.....to life....to humankind. That's just the way it appears to me. Of course, I could be wrong. I'm not infallible. But that's just the way I see it. That's all.Why does it seem that so many fundamentalist Christians are against intellectualism?

I don't know diddly about Evolution, but I have concluded it to be wrong.
In fact, in my opinion, it's blasphemy --- but we won't go there ---
Thank you --- but before you give me too much credit --- read what I said slowly.WOW. You're the greatest troll in the history of the internets.
Oh, there's pages and pages of AV quotes on fstdt...Holy ****, AV, I didn't realize you were famous. I just found your post on 'fundies say the darndest things . com'

All I'm simply saying is that the two are in 100% agreement with each other.
Like a dollar bill --- how do you spot a fake one?
By comparing the real one to the template.
If I came across a Hebrew document that called God, 'Yahweh', for instance, and another document that called Him, 'Jehovah', in the same passage --- I would opt for the 'Jehovah' passage as more authentic.
...on what basis to you conclude the bible to be accurate?
