I can live with "quirks"- I think,,,I'd rather have an Alpha dog that I have to restrain than a Beta that I have to prod. Unfortunately the wife wants a "female so we can pet her whole stomach". I agreed on the theory that a dog is a dog and keeping the wife happy this should work,,,,,I should have put my foot down and got a male with the urge to be Alpha. I think I may have just answered my own question.

Went to see "Left Behind" with Nicholas Cage last night. Essentially it's pre-trib theology. I wish I could buy into it but I can't- not when I see all the pain and suffering that Christians have had go to through all over the world and it gives the appearance that God doesn't care. That's why I'm a survivalist- figure if I have to live through the 7 years end times I'm going to do it as much as I can to make it as painful/painless as possible. That is- inflict the maximum amount of pain on satan's followers and as painless as possible for Christians.

Like what happens if you're FORCED to be chipped and it's done against your will? Will Christ save you because you were knocked out, the mark of the beast applied and there was nothing you could do about it?

Better to go out guns blazing shooting bad guys than go on my knees to obey satan.

Hey trail I agree that we are going to go through persecution and all the rest but I do believe in pre trib rapture, I also dont believe that anyone will take the mark without knowing or the punishment would not be so great for those that do. I see many things coming and I know with all that the government has at its disposal it will only be by faith and trust in God and hearing His voice leading that survival will even be possible.

It is interesting watching current events today, isn't it? Can't believe all that's going on in this world, it's nuts. I saw the movie too & enjoyed it. It's really nice to visit with you guys on this thread, I enjoy it

Im glad, I havent seen the movie but did read the series a long time ago and yes, we will find out and I think sooner rather than later. This is a fun place to be and we are glad you are here as well

Since I am queen, at least for the moment, I have a prayer request.

I would sure appreciate prayers please. We are in big time trouble financially and I have been applying for work and all I get is letters of rejection. This is serious folks, I do not know what to do. Granted, I have nothing to offer any employer anymore, I have been out of work for 20 years, and no formal training and now, I can not afford it. I may have to cancel my trip and get that money back as well, or, if I do not get a job before I leave, I may go and stay back home and try to find work there. I am scared. Steve is not working much, he says he can not handle full time, so, again, we do not have a steady income at all, my daddy's savings is gone for all practical purposes, I have the weight of the world on me right now.

I don't know where you're from but a displaced home maker/or minority can go to a trade school for free or very low cost- since that puts your age around 40 and you live in the United States, there's all sorts of grants and stuff you could get. Try getting a phelobotomy course- there's always a need for vampires.

However, if you need a job right now and you're willing to make the commitment, look up locksmith shops in your area and apply to be an apprentice. You'll have to take a home study course first some are 3 days long, others are supposedly 1 year (I had it done in 12 hours)
