  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Faith
Nazarene
If I could be what I wanted to be
Would I do what was best for me
Knowing all the details before I go
Seeds in sealed packets do not grow

Or if I could do what I wanted to do
Would I put my faith and trust in You
Not knowing how the journey will end
In Your hands let the adventure begin

Before a dream can become reality
Self will fight with great tenacity
Always right and knowing what's best
Will this choice pass the comfort test

Before reality can become a dream
Things are not always as they seem
Faith goes on while fear stays behind
Immobilized by the things that bind

Bride blushes as she gazes into His eyes
In this moment fullfillment finally realized
She gives up so little to recieve so much
Her heart melts at the warmth of His touch

A puddle forms of whys, ifs and hows
Forgetting tomorrow she lives in now
And so begins this almost magical journey
With hearts intertwined yet never so free

.....peace.....
