  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Absolutely amazing. Just ended recently, Season 3 of Full Metal Panic, this one actual follows the story of the original novels. It's 13 episodes long and can be acquired here at defiant.ws

It also containts the most amazing anime villain to ever grace the screen, Gates. The man is completely insane and utterly hilarious.

This was a good season. However, I like the first season better. In "The Second Raid," all the 12 episodes were good and had strong character development. But, after anticipating mecha action and the capabilities of the new black mecha, I was disappointed. The 13th episode felt rather rushed, and after building up the main bad guy for so long, they made him almost entirely vulnerable to Sousuke in the end. Sousuke just pulled a complete 360 DBZ style rage and destroyed everything in mere seconds. What was that? So yeah, other than the disappointing ending, it was a good one.

Everybody loves the Sosuke rage. I wish I could pull one of those in school someday. It would save me from tests! :amen:

I blame Kaname for poor Sosuke going crazy, but it's still cool as Hell when he does (can I say Hell? Just in case I can't: I meant HADES!!!). I laugh. :)

I don't care if the ending isn't too great, I still want to watch this season. I would love FMP even if it had dead birds in them!!!

i just finished watching it, i think it's awesome! my brother thinks it's better than the first season. To me, this sequal wouldn't be so good if not for all the build up in the first season.

That part about Sousuke quitting is unexpected (unexpected series wise, but not so when Melissa asks that question). As Everglaze said, there's some strong character development and i love every bit of it. That part about Sousuke discovering how his current mission is scrapped and going crazy about it totally throws me off! I suppose a guy like him who always keeps everything inside is bound to blow one of these days.

The actions... no problem there, they're as good as the first season, um, even better i think.

and Chidori's scary encounter is just so intense.

i don't think the ending's rushed. What's more to say? Sousuke gets what he wants. His relationship with Chidori has gone a huge leap. He has made a huge change in his life. All in all, it's a good ending. Nothing much more to be added... unless they're going to go head with another FMP series as this season leaves a lot of questions unanswered!
