I never said that the present Israel has turned to God. They will have to go through much pain and suffering till they eventually call out to God as a nation.

And my being part of the Body of Christ helps me to see God`s other purposes through - Israel and the nations. God created each group and He is bringing each to fulfillment in His purposes.

How else can you make biblical claims about present-day Israel when it isn't even the Israel the Bible speaks of? Additionally, where in the Bible does it even say Jesus gifts back the Promised Land to the Jews as their nation?

No, it isn`t a contradiction, just reality of the situation at the moment. Speaking of the Russian Federation (& others) -

Yes, I do appreciate a good discussion. However, your thoughts are opening up an entirely different focus. Why not start your own thread on that?

The OP mentions Israel and that is a nation in this world. You are trying to move the discussion as to whether it is of God or not. That is not about the OP which is looking at the conflict moving from Gaza to the Golan Heights in a few months.

We can all see that Israel`s war with Hamas will continue for some months in 2024. Thus, I am revising my thoughts. I think that when Israel is at peace, later this year then Russia and Iran etc will gather together and be brought down to the Golan Heights, by God for judgment. I see early 2025 as quite likely when that can happen.
