Friends already appear in list but is asking to add them, is this a bug?

While i can see the existent friends list, under the Incoming Friend Requests i have some requests from some of those friends... is this a bug?

Here's a helpful hint from Richard:

BUDDY LIST : In order to have a "Friend's list" again, you must go to your buddy list and check the "Friend" button. All your old buddies are saved as contacts, or so it seems.
