Jesus was talking about Christians not little children.

What He said was a metaphor.

Mat_18:3
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Sounds like we perhaps already have the same view then (though we have somewhat different usage of words). If we become like little children in their modest unassuming/humble desire to serve/love, then we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven. If we don't become as they are, we cannot enter.

I guess Paul's words are not enough for you then?

Children are not under the umbrella of God's protection if neither of their parents are saved; and are more likely to go to hell if they die too soon. Children that are truly wicked do go to hell if they die without Christ.
Perhaps Matthew 18 NIV
could help, when read with humble listening, to hear and learn.

His words are living, and we can learn from them, even new things, even reading or hearing a passage we paid careful attention to before, even reading it the 8th or 12th time, if we listen with faith.

@JIMINZ

God is talking to my heart not to talk to you at this time.
He is telling me that nothing I say with His Word will convince you.

May God's goodness be upon you today.

Are you sure it's God talking to you?
