Some people will stay buy the higher priced foods and other products, but less of it. But they will then have less money for buying other stuff, things produced here in the good old U.S.A. The very sad truth is that Trump's bankruptcies (and they are his, even if they were of the corporate variety, since he was responsible) have cost many people a lot. Contractors and sub-contractors going out of business, filing for bankruptcy themselves, thousands and thousands of people not getting paid for the stuff they sold Trump or the work they did. Chapter 11 is not a Zero Sum proposition. Trump wins, everyone else loses. Not a single person on this forum or in this country pays more taxes than they have to. Every single one of you attacking Trump for his taxes and losing money have lost money before, have failed before, and finds ways to not pay more taxes than they have to. Any one of you would've taken a tax exemption if you had a bad year if you had the opportunity.
