Ok I think I made a thread about something similar but I'll do it again LOL.

I don't have Fox on my TV (just MSNBC and CNN which, if I had my druthers, I'd never lay my eyes and ears on again) so, to try to compensate, I go to Fox News on the internet.

People seem to hate and denigrate Fox for some reason but is it a pretty good news source in terms of credibility or not?

Conservatives seem to like Fox

FOX news is okay. They lean too heavy on the thighs and locks of lassies, but even so they are pretty good. Glenn Beck is the best thing they have. Hannity stinks, and he's getting really creepy looking the older he gets. Their 6 O'Clock news is good for sure.

MSNBC is a travesty of news. Honestly I don't know how they remain in business. CNN is fine, just boring.

The last time my TV did have Fox (it doesn't seem to carry it anymore), Hannity wasn't my favorite of guys on there but anyway.

Don't get me started on MSNBC - especially Keith Olbermann (sp?)

Regardless of what you think about the torture issue (and I don't want to start anything because my main objective was to talk about Fox), it seems as if that is the ONLY news he reports.

Olberman is a true sad freak of a human being. Actually he's clown, a lampoon of a news head that SNL could not have satired as well. I despise few, but I despise Keith.

FOX likes to parade the honey pots on the tube. Again, it's not a huge issue and as a normal male I enjoy the view, but they could gain more respect if they showed less cleavage and thighs.

FOX, MSNBC both are far too slanted and sensationalistic.

I prefer Jon Stewart or the BBC.

I am a true Conservative, but I dislike Hannity as well. Why bring guest on your show if you are just going to let them say 3 words then go into some rant? He just doesn't show any respect at all.

FoxNews as a whole is pretty good, though...me like.

Yes, he's embarrassingly oafish and not even a newsman.

By the way, the reason Fox is villified such that this has become a part of
"common knowledge" is that the Democratic Party set out to demonize the only channel that didn't slant itself towards the Left. In time, the lemmings who have heard that Fox is unfair--over and over again--begin to repeat it without knowing the facts. That's a key point of propaganda--say it again and again until the person who is only dimly paying attention or doesn't really know the full story thinks it is true. He then repeats it, thinking he's 'in the know.'

Liberals don't like it because it breaks from the liberal media establishment. You would do well to read "Bias" by Bernie Goldberg (a liberal) who was formerly with CBS. He'd spent a lot of time there, but when he admitted that the media was in fact biased to the left, they threw him under the bus. He works for Fox now (which he did not when he wrote this book).

Yeah, and that interview with Lisa Rinna really made me lose respect for him.

They are headlines on the front page as you scroll down, and there are usually pictures. They link into the entertainment section, but it's front page material.
