Uvalde, TX (AHN) - A 4-year-old girl, who dyed her hair in pink for the school parade, was not allowed to enter her Texas pre-school because of the color. When Natalyn Gracia dyed her hair in October, she liked it so much that she went to school with that.

The toddler's father, Ricardo Gracia, even touched up the color over the Christmas break, after the initial October application.

Well you have to follow the dress code. If you can't then expect there to be consequences.
There was a dress code? I didn't see that, but obviously if there is, you need to follow it or change it. You would think the school wouldn't have let her dye it for a school function if they had a problem. This started in September, went through December and then became a problem?

The article doesn't mention anythign about a "dress code"!

The school obviously dislikes people who go their own way and do not conform, even if such indiuvidualism isn't hurting anyone!

Shame on that school to so betray one of the things that has made the USA one of the notable societies in the world!

Yeah, we should let them roam around in their underwear...and integrate tree hugging as an extra curricular activity...Birkenstock's required.
When did we decide that children could just do whatever they want?

Sorry, but you go to school to learn. Not to show everybody how hip you are or to "express yourself".

Self expression is always good, even at school.

If I have to explain it to you, you wouldn't understand.
Maybe you can try... just tell me what harm can be caused by self expression, for example at school. You can give an example if you want. :)
