Absolutely groundbreaking discovery...We'll see in a couple of months whether the finding are accurate or not.
How can it be a groundbreaking discovery if the evidence has not yet been confirmed. Sounds like you are trying to force-fit the evidence. Typical.

So his wife said he was an agnostic, and AoS was wrong.
I taught you that his wife said he was an agnostic (you believe that); I also taught you that he preached and attended Christian Church in Ithaca New York (you don't believe that). You're welcome...

Have you ever met a non-loony christian? Do you believe in God?

Speaking for myself, the Christians that I know thru the University are very intelligent, well grounded sensible people.

In another thread, i wondered about the proportion of serious hard core loonies in a forum like this one. Is it the the theos or evos with more?

Then why are you a Buddhist? can you answer with specifics? or do you want me to just take what you are for granted?

I already knew he was agnostic, and that his wife confirmed that.

You showed me a page that shows he spoke at a chapel that houses all religions. It's perfectly reasonable to believe he spoke about questioning and agnosticism. You have no grounds claiming anything else.

You showed that you trusted a friend who told you something that may or may not be true. You have put in no effort to verify this claim or anything else. So your claim is therefore baseless and meaningless.

Is it that you can't understand how sensible, well educated christians couldn't convert him? Or that you can't understand why anyone would be a buddhist over a christian?

Perhaps he simply follows buddhist philosophy while rejecting the supernatural claims, or he believes them, any they don't conflict with science and reality.

I was raised among Buddhists, tho my mom didnt take it very seriously.
i guess I think more from that perspective than from a Christian one, its like Asian or Western ways of thinking.

Supernatural anything just irritates me with its shabby claims.

'Course my post was about whether there are more seriously nutty "creos" posting here than there are "evos". Probably its actually, why not whether.

... Hespera... The one you were trying to belittle.
Did I not reply to your reply to Hespera? I can't tell if you're being difficult intentionally or not.
Well, let's back up then and address what you asked about her:

Perhaps, maybe, I think, could be, might be, if -- I'm asking a specific person a specific question.

My guesses are as good as yours, are they not?

My bad, I didn't realize Hespera was a woman. Thank you for the [passive-aggressive] correction.

It sounds like you just wrote a bunch of nonsense here, but I'll take it as if you're admitting you're wrong. You didn't answer a single one of the questions directed at you in that post.
