We had a guest speaker for our Palm Sunday service. And we are having a Good Friday Service as well.

@ALL: Enjoy Holy Week. Time for me to go to work, but I'm excited for Holy week. We have a Good Friday service and three Easter services. Hopefully non-believers will come and let God work in their lives.
@Rowy, how wonderful! Good Friday Service is a nice to time to reflect on Christ's Crucifixion and the price for which we were bought.

This is the time that non believers should let Jesus into their lives as He dies for our sins.

Ok, this is my 3rd attempt to post, so I'm keeping it short! I got laid off work around Christmas, and things have been crazy before and since. I decided I needed to stick my neck in here from now on just for the family I have here 'cause my life isn't complete w/o you folks! More later, I promise! Jesus is risen!

@Rowy, AMEN!!! How was the Good Friday service?

@All: Went to my church's Good Friday service and loved it. The crucifixion and the resurrection are equally important.

It was a great service! The kids did their play which was great! And we read from Revelation about Jesus being worthy as the Lamb. And beholding the Lamb of God. The Easter Sunday service was good as well as we had Communion as well.

@Rowy: Wonderful! Kids plays are the best. Although my wife doesn't care for the big performances at holiday services, she does love kids.

Our service was good. We had a nice lunch with friends who live nearby.

Our church is fairly small compared to what you would see at the bigger churches. The other Pentecostal church in our area ImagiNations is bigger and they had a huge service last night apparently as some of my friends went

@All, today is a beautiful spring Sunday. Did anyone have their spring break this past week? I work so I don't have one, but today is our one year wedding anniversary so we're spending a two day staycation at a B&B maybe 30 minutes away from home. How was church today?

That is wonderful! I was baptized as an adult...quite a few years ago, but still fresh in my memory, a lovely little church with very fired up Christians, and an excellent Pastor who has since died.

Ocean: didn't get a chance to where I'm at right now. Have been looking for work like mad, but so far, just not finding anything. Things have been crazy for months, but am seeing God's hand in it all. Easter Sunday was glorious! Praying for us all!!!

God has a great way of handling things. Prayer is a great way of calming down. I also find reading the Bible calms me down also
